Texas Pick 4 FAQs

What is TX Pick 4?
Texas Daily 4 is a variation of the Pick 4 game. It is played in multiple different states, each with slightly different variations - but the essential rules all remain the same.
When do Pick 4 draws in Texas take place?
There are four TX Pick 4 games every Monday to Saturday. We’ve got Morning: 10:00 AM, Day: 12:27 PM, Evening: 6:00 PM, and Night: 10:12 PM.
When is the deadline to purchase tickets?
The deadline to purchase tickets will be ten minutes before each respective draw: Morning: 9:50 AM, Day: 12:17 PM, Evening: 5:50 PM, and Night: 10:02 PM.
How do you play TX pick 4?
Pick a play style - then pick four numbers between 0-9 (or two numbers if you picked pairs) - then decide how much you want to wager on that number and you’re ready to start playing. Go to our

How many play styles are there?
There are a total of five different play styles - Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Combo, and Pairs. Visit our

What is the Fireball option?
An additional part of the Pick 4 game is the Fireball option - an extra ball which can be used to replace the main drawn numbers. It is randomly selected after the draw (you don’t have to choose it) and it can be used as an extra chance to match all the numbers. It will double the cost of your wager.
How much will your ticket cost?
Your ticket cost will depend on how much you wagered, how many draws you played and your play type. You can wager either $0.50, $1, or $5 on every play you make.
How much can I win?
You can win $5,000 on a simple $1 play. There are many other prizes you can win depending on the play type you chose. Go to our

How many draws can you enter?
You can enter the same numbers into consecutive draws so you don’t have to enter each time - up to a maximum of 24 consecutive draws.
What are the odds of winning a prize?
There’s a 1 in 10,000 chance of winning the top prize of $5,000. Head to our

How old do I have to be to play Pick 4?
You have to be at least 18 years old to play Texas Pick 4, and any other lottery in the state.
How do I claim any winnings?
For prizes under $600 you can either mail in your ticket or go to a local lottery retailer who will give you your winnings in cash. For prizes over $600 you will have to fill out a claim form and mail in your winning ticket to:

How long do I have to claim a prize?
